And so I'm posting here both for posterity's sake, and as a reference for users of PureVPN and dd-wrt. I got a response from PureVPN technical that they want to investigate the issue because I stated it affects more users using the latest OpenVPN. Can you give me some pointers as to what is new with OpenVPN (protocols) as provided in the builds after 08/22/17? I can then pass it on to them, maybe they will then update their servers.
